DTS BTP · CONSTRUCTION & PUBLIC WORKS

Every site, priced line by line.

The cost study becomes the quote and the site budget in one motion; the variance reads in a single line.

BoQ / unit prices Site budget Multi-company
The problem

The site moves forward, the budget drifts.

The cost estimate lives in a spreadsheet

The quantity surveyor prices in Excel, and every offer variant spawns one more file. Six months later, nobody knows which version was sent to the client.

The quote and the budget ignore each other

The offer sits on one side, site tracking on the other: everything gets keyed in twice by hand, and every re-entry plants an error that costs you at the end of the contract.

The gap shows up too late

Supplier invoices pile up with no cost-code allocation. By the time the overrun shows up, the concrete is already poured: the margin melted away without warning.

The solution

Estimate, contract, track: one single chain.

DTS BTP connects the cost estimate, the customer quote and the site budget: what the quantity surveyor prices, the supervisor tracks.

Estimate

BoQ by lot and line item

The BoQ (Bill of Quantities) is built lot by lot, line item by line item, with unit-price breakdowns by nature: materials, labor, equipment, subcontracting.

Direct cost & overhead coefficient

Direct cost is calculated from the price breakdowns; the overhead coefficient applies on request, and the projected margin shows before the offer goes out.

Indexed revisions

Every offer variant is a tracked revision (index A, B, C...): one active at a time, the history stays available. You always know what was sent.

The requirement plan comes out of the BoQ

The validated BoQ proposes its materials requirement plan, adjustable, then purchase requisitions follow their path: the site foreman, the works supervisor, the executive above a configurable threshold.

Contract

From BoQ to customer quote

The validated BoQ generates the quote: one section per contract lot, one line per item, each line traced back to its source.

The budget comes from the offer

The same BoQ creates the site's initial budget: what was promised to the client becomes the reference to meet, with no double entry.

The site ready on day one

Sequential code, automatic analytic account, client and project manager, contract dates: the site record is created in a few fields.

Contracts, amendments, work orders

The confirmed quote becomes a contract, public or private; amendments, work orders and bank guarantees follow the contract, with an alert when a deadline nears.

Track

Budgeted, committed, actual, available

Every cost code shows its four columns: committed moves on confirmed purchase orders, actual on every entry, the variance reads in a single line.

Every expense has its cost code

Supplier invoices and expenses post to the site AND to the cost code: earthworks, reinforced concrete, masonry, each to its own account.

Real site roles

The foreman enters, the works supervisor validates, the manager decides: approval levels follow your roles, not the other way round.

Progress statements, certificates, retention

Each progress statement takes up the quantities recorded item by item; the start-up advance is recovered automatically and the retention is reclassified, then released at final acceptance.

The interface

The site in four columns, the variance in one line.

The works supervisor opens the site and reads: budgeted, committed, actual, available, cost code by cost code. What's drifting shows before it costs you.

Who it is for

Those who bid for contracts and keep to schedule.

General building contractors

Offers priced fast and right: lots, work items and cost breakdowns structure every estimate.

Public works & infrastructure

Roads, structures, water works: work types and trades come preloaded, from earthworks to painting.

Multi-entity groups

One company per group entity, data kept separate, and the same estimate-quote-budget chain everywhere.

Deployment & tailoring

Your prices in place, your sites start on solid ground.

DTS imports your price breakdowns and ongoing estimates, aligns cost codes with your sites, and trains your teams.

FAQ

Questions about DTS BTP.

Cost estimates, expense allocation and the roadmap: what construction business owners ask about.
Can we import our Excel estimates?
Yes. Your price breakdowns and ongoing DQE estimates are taken over as they are, then your quantity surveyor reviews them before the first offer leaves the tool.
How does the budget follow actual spending?
Every supplier invoice is booked to the site and to its cost code; committed amounts move as soon as a purchase order is confirmed. The four columns stay current.
What about progress billing and public contracts?
Delivered, on the same chain: the confirmed quote becomes a contract, public or private, with amendments and work orders; cumulative progress statements produce payment certificates and invoices, the start-up advance is recovered and the retention is released once final acceptance is pronounced.
Is SYSCOHADA accounting covered?
DTS BTP's core is country-neutral; the Guinea layer brings SYSCOHADA accounting and local payroll. Other OHADA countries are configured on the same base.
